No Such Thing As a Free Lunch?

No such thing as a free lunch you say?

Yesterday I had the pleasure of being invited to a lunch at Lloyd’s in Chicago,

with Melissa Giovagnoli (
www.networdling.com), Janie Gabbett of Burson-Marsteller (www.marsteller.com), Becky Brett (www.beckybrett.com),  and our host, Cindy Paine of Taste America (www.tasteamerica.net). We were at the new Lloyds restaurant (www.lloyds.com) @ 1. S. Wacker. It is wonderful!  – great seafood and the atmosphere is really superb for networking.

We discussed Becky’s upcoming event next Tuesday in Evanston (Get Your Mojo Working: Rediscover Your Professional Power, Charisma and Influence.” Visit www.beckybrett.com and click on the “mojo” tab for more info.)

We  discussed the idea of making our networking lunch a regular event. Melissa from Networdling decided to host a networking lunch on a regular basis with the help of Cindy. If you want to be considered for one of our networking lunches, just send Melissa an email at info@networlding.com with no more than three paragraphs stating why you believe you would be a good networking guest.  Three winners will be chosen to join us at our next venue. Just remember our Networlding values are: integrity, making a difference, innovation and collaboration. If you have similar or complimentary values and are an existing or emerging leader in Chicago, you will want to apply.

We are calling this new initiative At the Table in Chicago. It’s a free networking lunch compliments of Cindy Paine and Taste America. We look forward to seeing you and we will share the next networking lunch details with you soon!
