10.7.2006 MUSIC IN THE LOFT returns



Music in the Loft is dedicated to advancing the professional careers of today’s finest young musicians by providing a venue for the performance of chamber music in an intimate and acoustically superior setting. Our Composer-in-Residence program, Classics for Kids series, and Young Award Winners’ Concerts support this goal, bringing chamber music to audiences of all ages and diverse levels of musical experience.

Coming October 7 & 8th – The Biava Quartet, winner of the 2003 Naumburg Chamber Music Award, is recognized as one of today’s top young American quartets.Dedicated to the performance of the classical repertoire, the Biava Quartet also maintains a strong commitment to the commissioning and performance of contemporary works.
