Tens of thousands people from all around the country flock to Market Days each year to experience the largest two-day street fair in the Midwest.

Market Days, which is consistently considered one of Chicago’s premier street festivals, has become famous for the wide array of unique food and arts and crafts vendors that it attracts. Vendors from across the country apply for the privilege of showing and selling their unique merchandise to the vast and upscale crowd. On average, Northalsted Market Days  features 400 food and arts & crafts vendors.

In addition to the vendors whose booths line the streets of North Halsted, the street fair also hosts an exclusive entertainment line-up.  Throughout the two-day period there will be over 40 different performances dispersed among four different stages. The combination of local talent and national headliners guarantee a weekend of some of the best live entertainment in Chicago. Headlining this years Market Days will be dynamic recording artist Taylor Dayne.

The festival will take place on North Halsted between Belmont (3200 North) and Addison (3600 North). The event spans six city blocks, has 17 different entrances along with four separate stages for entertainment throughout the two day festival. Market Days, sponsored by Bud Light, is presented annually by the Northalsted Area Merchants Association (NAMA) and a $5 voluntary donation is recommended at the gate.

Since parking is limited in areas surrounding the festival, it is recommended that public transportation be used to get to the event. The CTA Red Line “L” (Belmont, Addison stops) or Brown Line “L” (Belmont stop) are conveniently located a few blocks from the festival.
